Things here are going quite well. Lilly is getting so big and so smart. She gets into EVERYTHING. In fact we had to call poison control for the first time the other day. I was getting dressed and Lilly was following me around and all the sudden I turn around and she is drinking my face astringent. YUMMERS! The nice man a the poison control center was very helpful and said that since the astringent has some alcohol in it she might have some side effects (she might be drunk) but other than that she should be totally fine. She was a little groggy for awhile but she is her crazy self again and mommy learned a valuable lesson, the little turd can now open things with lids. So far she removed the lid from and has tried to eat her diaper rash cream, toothpaste, all her baby cheetos, and whatever else she can pry open. She is working on getting her sippy cups open, then we are going to be in big trouble.
Lance was of work yesterday and he expressed that he was concerned that Lilly wasn't talking too much and that he thought she might be behind developmentally. I assured him that she is not, but I got a chart offline today, just to prove it too him. I put everything she can do in green and just so you know she turned 14 months on the 2nd.

So as you can see it seems that our little Lilly is doing pretty well....in fact she seems a little ahead of schedule for her age. I counted yesterday and came up with 12 different words that uses so that is pretty exciting. She seems to prefer NO the most though. She can also say, quack, moo, baa, baby, mama, dada, yes, hi, Sit, more. She has also learned to climb on the back of the couch, climb over the gates we have around the bookshelves, climb into her sink in her play kitchen, mostly she loves to climb anything and everything. It makes for a tired mommy at the end of everyday. She still loves her toothbrush and has started loving her soft baby blanket my mom made her when she was born. I guess the next thing to do is get her something so she can start coloring. It just seems dangerous. I don't really feel like having crayon all over the walls. I'll have to think about that. Maybe we will start with a set of bath tub crayons or something.
Alright it's lunch time. I hope everyone is doing well. I would post pictures, but it seems that Lilly has hidden my camera.
HUGS ERIN
